- 10 human subjects (5 male, 5 female) between 65 and 75 years old, had a walking research for analyzing with some common piled socks and our developed new 4 models.
- Our research leads,
- When not wearing shoes, the taped socks stretch, with the non-slip grip appearing to extend the wearer’s stride. With respect to walking speed, the weave’s design helps the wearer lift the toes, appearing to have some impact on the gait itself. Moreover, walking speed while wearing shoes tended to be faster when wearing socks with a non-slip grip.

Usage precautions
- Wash in a net with a mild detergent.
- Note that the non-slip rubber threads may come loose from the fabric. This is a natural aspect of the material and does not represent any kind of flaw.
- When drying, place the rubber opening facing up. Placing it upside-down will cause moisture to pool in the opening for long periods of time and and cause it to deteriorate.
- Due to the unique taping benefits they offer, taped socks can be more challenging to wear than regular socks and will feel tighter.
- If you suffer from, or believe you may be at risk for, blood circulation disorders, diabetes, inflammatory diseases, neuropathy, or other ailments, please consult a doctor before wearing.
- Refrain from layering two differently sized socks together.
- Discontinue use if you feel any kind of abnormalities in your legs or body.
